Comfortis Plus is a new product by Elanco. It is a combination of flea and intestinal worm treatment along with heartworm prevention. The oral treatment starts working within 30 minutes and eliminates 100% fleas within 24 hours. It prevents flea infestations and controls flea allergy dermatitis. The oral chewable tablet controls heartworm disease and prevents intestinal worm infection. It removes worms like hookworms, roundworms and whipworms. Comfortis Plus is safe to be given to dogs and puppies of 8 weeks and above age. The oral product comes in meat flavor which makes it easy to administer to dogs.

Comfortis Plus for Dogs

Comfortis Plus is an excellent flea preventive with two active ingredients – spinosad and milbemycin oxime. The non-sticky spot-on affects the nervous system of parasites and removes them effectively. Spinosad is a strong adulticide which kills fleas and controls flea population, preventing the spread of Comfortis Plus. The other ingredient is endoparasitic, which eliminates immature form of heartworms and kills intestinal worms.

Instructions To Use Comfortis Plus (Trifexis) Chewable Tablets

• Administer it according to weight of the dog.
• Should be given with food, so mix it with food and give.
• Ensure that the whole food is finished for high effectiveness.
• Dogs should be tested for heartworm before starting the treatment to ensure if there is a possibility of a pre-existing heartworm infestation.

• Keep out of reach of pets and children.
