You may begin your dog’s treatment with NexGard Spectra Chewables at any time of the year. This monthly chew treats and controls ticks and kills fleas. It prevents flea infestations, as the newly acquired fleas get killed before they can lay eggs. Because of its rapid action against fleas, NexGard Spectra chew helps control flea allergy dermatitis.

This broad-spectrum chew also treats and controls roundworms, hookworms and whipworms, and helps prevent flea tapeworm infestations. It prevents heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis. How does NexGard Spectra Purple work?

NexGard Spectra Purple for Large Dogs contains two active ingredients: Afoxolaner and milbemycin oxime. They are absorbed into the bloodstream and, upon ingestion by parasites, the ingredients overstimulate their nervous system, resulting in uncontrolled activity and death of parasites. Following administration of NexGard Spectra Chews, fleas are killed within 6-8 hours. With NexGard Spectra, your dog also gets quicker relief from other parasite infestations.

Instructions To Use Nexgard Spectra

• Weigh your dog and get the suitable NexGard Spectra pack for your dog.
• Remove one chewable from the foil-backed blister card.
• Give the chew to your dog directly into the mouth or give it with a small amount of food.
• This soft, palatable chew can also be offered as a treat.
• Observe your dog for a few minutes and ensure that they have consumed the complete dose.
• If you suspect that a part of the dose is lost or rejected, treat your dog again with a full dose.
• If a dose is missed, administer the weight-appropriate dosage of NexGard Spectra Chewable(s) to your dog and resume the monthly dosing regimen.
• For optimal parasite control, administer the dosage on or about the same day each month, irrespective of the number of days in a month.

• The packs are color-coded for easier identification.

Dosing schedule:

• This chew is for animal treatment only.
• Do not use it in dogs less than 8 weeks of age.
• Keep it out of reach of children to avoid accidental ingestion.

• Wash your hands after handling this product.
